Blue Tongue continues to develop the profile of Australian theatre in the UK through its own productions, co-productions, advocacy, supporting Australian actors in London, providing a point of contact for casting directors and other theatres, and by programming and directing Australian plays for other companies.

First established at the King's Head Theatre, Islington, in association with Australian Actors Abroad.

Blue Tongue began a three year residency at Australia House (the home of the Australian High Commission) in 1998 during which we performed numerous staged readings including work by Andrew Bovell, Hilary Bell, David Williamson, Hannie Rayson, Nick Enright, Vanessa Bates, Matt Cameron, Tony MacNamara, Louis Nowra, Jack Hibberd.
